Visual Artist's Statement
My creative practice ranges across experimental music, visual art and live art. Although the mode of expression is clearly different in each case, in my head the energy is coming from the same zone, whatever that is.
My visual art itself encompasses painting, assemblage, drawing and printmaking. I try to avoid boundaries.
My painting and printmaking looks abstract at first sight, but on closer inspection there are frequent references to landscape, music and my previous career as a biologist.
I love experimenting, searching and refining through the appropriate processes.
